What the word cadence refers to is the number of pedal rotations per minute (RPM). The higher the cadence, the faster you’re pedaling. Especially beginners tend to pedal with high gear and low cadence, which requires lots of effort and is hard on muscles, knees and the Achilles tendon, increasing muscular fatigue and the risk of repetitive strain injuries. Using a cadence sensor allows you to adjust the pedaling speed to the optimal level of 80-110 RPM, where riding is easier and more efficient.

Hi! Since I updated the newest version, the sport tracker doesn’t work properly: No matter how long i go, distance is always 0,00km.

Hi Eveliina! It sounds like the problem is with your GPS. Does it work normally with other apps/services such as navigation or Google Maps? You could first try rebooting your phone and reinstalling our app (first make sure all your workouts are synced and saved on our website). But I looks like only the Sportstracker branded Blue SC. I have bought the Blue SC before Sportstracker released their product, my Blue SC is not picked up by the app.
