Sports Tracker service offline due to technical problems (Update)

We’re starting to restore normal operation of the service at 11 AM EET. The operation will take about an hour and mobile access to the service will be available to users gradually. Web access will be restored during the afternoon.

Please note that the service will be running slower than usual for the first few hours, as all the pending workouts from many days will be synced, temporarily causing unusually high load to our database.

    not again, I can’t also Login and sync again.
    It locks a database problem.

    @Support, please write wat’s wrong and it will great to know, how long the errors on app and ST homepage.

    I am still getting error 2048, have followed all instructions on your blog. i’ve done 3 workouts since the 8th using ST, none of them have synced. Is there still an issue?

        Hi, our servers were down again this morning but they’re back up again. Try to sign out and sign in again with your phone, that should trigger the sync.

      one of the mosts problem from internet browser is the cache… Maybe it helps to clear (empty) browser cache :)…

      Hi Dafs, did you try to clear the cache and flash player? PLease see instructions here: http://support.sports-tracker.com/customer/portal/articles/518412-can-t-login-error-2048
      Also it might help to try another browser.

      Maybe it helps if you try to clear the browser cache?

      I tried yesterday and today, but I empty my browser cache bevor I tried to go website http://www.sports-tracker.com

        I haven’t solved the problem, but have found a work around. I’ve got a Windows 8 laptop and the website does not open in desktop mode, but is working fine in modern mode. So at least I get to see my results on the laptop :-)

    Great job on getting the site back up and running, especially with all the data still intact. look forward to recording many more workouts and hope to see future enhancemnets come out soon (and hopefully roled out a little bit more smoothly!!)

    Hi, great to see i can upload my tracks again but when i check the website i am still getting error 401, #2048. Hope that will be fixed soon!

    And for all the moaners out there. Get a life. This is a great app, its free, and most probably a victim of it’s own success.

    Had you contacted support you’d have had a very prompt reply and an explanation of what was happening.

    Congratulations!
    From the statement which explained everything and lowered the website, you had no pressure from us and could work in peace to return to normal operation.
    Just got workouts of these days, in less than 5 seconds each … amazing!
    Hopefully the problems will not be repeated, but if so, do not forget that if you immediately say what happens and keep us informed frankly, the user community have no problem in supporting you and wait.

    How can I sync my workouts from last week?

      maybe it’s the same like me ;)…

      try to go with you’re mobilephone to sportstracker and go to “process” German “Verlauf” and it will sync from allone if you connect with internet, isn’t sync you can try to go settings, by my Gallaxy S3 is the bottom left key and you can press “sync”.

      I hope it’s helpfull for you :)…

      Hi, they should automatically sync. Please be patient as there are loads of workouts pending so the sync might take hours or even days.

        I opened the app on the phone I went to training diary and uploaded one by one … in less than five seconds each, and now I’m uploading photos of the roast I went last night with David Roland and everything works perfect.
        Why do not you try like me manually?

    Thanks all for your comments and feedback. We’ve definitely learned a few things during this downtime, hopefully there won’t be a next time, but if there will be, then we’ll make sure to do things differently, especially on the comms side:).
    The service is now starting to get back to normal, so happy tracking and thanks again for your patience!
