So, Sports Tracker is now also a step tracker! Follow your daily activity in Sports Tracker to make sure you meet your daily steps goals. Connect Sports Tracker with Apple Health and your daily steps are instantly visible every time you open the app as your phone automatically tracks your steps.
In addition to steps, Apple Watch owners can also follow daily calories, daily heart rate and fitness (VO2max) levels. Monitoring your progress and meeting your activity goals is now easier than ever!
Maps and routes on your watch
Stay on course on any road or trail with just a glimpse of your wrist as routes and maps are now available in your Apple Watch! Explore new trails for any sport or location in Sports Tracker with the popular Routes feature. And when you are ready to hit the road, you can follow the same route on your Apple Watch’s Sports Tracker app. No need to carry your phone as navigational assistance: the same maps are right there on your wrist.
